2001 PADDLING ADAPTER
WORLD RANKINGS

2001 was a year of impressive times from  diverse locations.  True, there weren't many entries compared with previous years, but those we received were strong.  Also quite impressive was the improvement we saw over the year in periodic entries from some participants.  Nice job!

We hope to have a rebound in number of entries next year and anticipate that with changes in the structure of our business, this will happen.  Thanks to those of you who did participate in 2001!

To compare rankings performances using a weight adjustment factor have a look at the formula in our newsletter.

How to enter your time / distance for the 2003 Rankings:
  1. The damper on your rower may be set anywhere you choose, but must remain the same for the entire piece. You might want to experiment beforehand to see which setting is the most efficient for you.
  2. If you are likely to set a new world record, overall or in your category, have someone watch you paddle and sign your entry as a witness.
  3. To enter the 2003 Rankings, you must use a Vermont Waterways Canoe Paddling Adapter.
  4. Your entry must arrive at Vermont Waterways by June 1, 2003.
  5. Use our Rankings Entry Form to submit your data.

Age and weight breakdowns and information on how to enter your time in the 2003 rankings follow:
